During his thirty-one years of service at the New York City Department of Education, Angel proved his commitment to the field of education and the development of constructive learning environments. During his fifteen years of employment at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in San Juan, Puerto Rico, he specialized in providing veterans with mental health care related to trauma. Angel continues to make a positive impact on the communities in which he lives by volunteering his time and talents to help those in need, even though he is now retired.
